“This is the heartbeat of our school: to equip students to take the Gospel to all aspects of society. “
By Spencer MacCuish, President of Eternity Bible College
We recently gathered to celebrate the Eternity Bible College Class of 2019. As always, our commencement ceremony was an incredible time of praying over and commissioning our students, including those scattered around the country who weren’t able to join us in person.
A college degree is a great achievement, and I’m incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and faithfulness, but what gets me most excited is knowing that these students have been equipped to take the Good News into a world that so desperately needs it.
In fact, our 2019 graduates are already making an incredible impact in their communities. They’re serving children, youth, the disabled, the incarcerated, and marginalized people all around the country. In addition to those who are pursuing church ministry and missions, our graduates are also pursuing Gospel advancement in fields like education, social work, community development, and more. This is the heartbeat of our school: to equip students to take the Gospel to all aspects of society.
As the world changes, it’s become clearer and clearer that we need to reimagine the way we train leaders and equip believers for Gospel advancement. Countless studies show that the church is in decline and that increasingly more people view the Bible as outdated or irrelevant. Rather than maintaining the status quo and hoping for the best, we’ve devoted ourselves to restoring Biblical education and equipping students to engage the world as it is today, not how it was yesterday.
God has entrusted us with a big vision, and as I look at our recent graduates, I’m even more convinced that He’s leading us on the right path. If you share this passion, I’d like to invite you to participate in one of three ways:
